    10/03/2016 /

    Inspirational Artists- Ken To

    16/02/2016 /

Although there are only a hand full of artists on this planet making wire tree sculptures, the ones who exist are truly amazing. Being a bonsai enthusiast it was only a matter of time before I would come across the work of Ken To (http://ken-to.com) and his amazing bonsai trees. Ken’s style is unique, these beautiful little sculptures are made from his studio in California in the US. His trees exhibit careful execution of bonsai styling while remaining very small. Some of his more interesting pieces include trees in baubles, group displays on small rocks and even one tree smaller than a thumbnail! Ken enjoys using coloured wires to create…

    Basic Metal Bonsai Care

    04/02/2016 /

Howto care your your metal bonsai: Remove carefully from packaging. Place on desired location i.e. desk, shelf ect. Admire. Note- The tree does not need watering but may need an occasional dusting. To do this take a soft bristled brush and carefully brush dust off the tree. Other ways to remove dust to get an air duster like the the type you can get here. With an air duster be careful to take your time and not start to close to the tree as it can mis-shape the tree due to the power of the jet of air.  Avoid dropping the tree or dropping anything on the tree. If damage occurs,…
