This is a custom commission for a client who wanted to create a pond in a bonsai pot. So I figured out a good size, found a stunning pot from Erin Pottery and got some small clay fish made. We then proceed to make the rock cluster up the left of of the pot with the front having an obvious and stunning glaze. The base effects were applied both around the rocks and the bottom of the pond. Once sealed I stared pouring the epoxy resin, which was done in 6 layers, with each fish occupying a different layer for depth. Finished with a ripple effect on the surface give the effect of moving water without it looking too still
The Pot- Erin Handmade Bonsai Pot- size 16 x 11 x 4 cm.
