Sat inside a green and teal speckled pot, this sculpture really came about when I paired the wood with the pot, I instantly knew what I wanted to achieve with this piece. The driftwood is well aged in water and has a lovely colour to it, the wire used is a old gold colour wire, which will not tarnish. A lot of care was taken to make the stones and grasses natural and the front of the pot is actually the least busy of all 4 sides as to not detract from the sculpture. The sculpture is 125mm tall and 80mm wide, with the pot being 60mm. It is not often I make a driftwood piece and this one turned out very well.
